Hi everyone! Being at home the last month and a half has got me itching to re-decorate my entire house. While I love spending some time each day on Pinterest and home furnishing sites adding items to my cart, I know I need to be careful with my money until these uncertain times are over. That being said, I scratched my itch a little by giving one of our spare rooms, which I use as a closet and my yoga room, a little makeover.
Before:
I started my refresh by getting a cute basket to put my fiddle leaf fig plant in. Baskets are a great way to elevate the look of your houseplants and make them fit with your home decor a a little more. This is the basket I have for my fiddle leaf. Next on my list was to add a mini gallery wall.

I mapped out what sizes I wanted and how I wanted them arranged on the wall using some pages from magazines. I’m a visual person so this was super helpful to see how the art would look on the wall. This also allows you to try out a bunch of different arrangements without putting any holes in your walls.
I browsed Etsy and found some art that I liked. There are so many inexpensive prints available on Etsy, all of my prints cost less than $6 each! The prints I purchased were digital downloads so I was able to print some right away. I printed the two 8×10 prints at home on photo paper. For the larger 11×14 prints I used Snapfish, the two prints cost me $25 and this was including shipping. I found these inexpensive frames from Amazon to house my new prints in. I was really surprised by the quality of these frames, they look and feel like they would cost a lot more than they did. I used this tool to help me align everything perfectly. It let me hang my prints easily and made sure everything was level.
After:

I’m really happy with how my little room makeover turned out. For about $130 I was able to brighten and cozy up my space. Now I can’t wait to go into this room to practice some yoga or do a little work at my desk.
