Hi everyone! I have always had a love of shoes. At times in my life my shoe collection was around 100 pairs!! Over the years I’ve adopted a more minimalist mindset when it comes to my life and have drastically cut down the number of shoes and items of clothing I own. While my spring and summer shoe collection is small, it contains pairs that I know I love to wear and will continue to reach for over and over again.
Sam Edelman Clara Sandals
These are a great Tory Burch Miller sandal dupe. I’ve actually been reaching for these more often than my Miller sandals. Personally I find the Sam Edelman sandals to be a little more comfortable because they have some more padding and the second strap seems to help keep the shoe on your foot better. I went up 1/2 a size in these just like in the Miller sandals.
Converse Knit Slip-On Sneakers
I have needed a pair of white sneakers in my wardrobe for years. I am so happy I picked these up a few months ago because I wear them constantly. I didn’t realize how much wear I would get out of a pair of sneakers. Anytime it’s a little chilly out or I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking, these are what I reach for. These run big, I am normally a size 8 in everything but I sized down to a 7 and they fit perfectly. The material of these sneakers makes them a little stretchier as well.
A New Day Embellished Slide Sandals
I grabbed this pair of sandals last year from Target and I’m so happy to see them back in stock this year. These are great to dress up or down with the embellishment giving them a little something extra.
Sannibel Platform Wedge Sandals
You can’t go wrong with a good pair of wedges. These are a bit of an investment but this is a shoe I know will be in my collection for years. I purchased these last year for our trip to Colombia and have gotten so much wear out of them since then. I would recommend breaking them in a bit before wearing them out to help prevent blisters.
Steve Madden Greece Slides
These became pretty popular a couple years ago. They are pretty expensive for what they are, but I managed to grab mine when they were on sale! I’ve walked all around Spain and Portugal in these sandals, they’re surprisingly comfortable given there isn’t much to them. I wouldn’t pay full price for these, but if you can find them on sale I think they’re nice to have in your collection.
Steve Madden Travel Sandal
I’m sure you’ve seen these on every blogger around because they are so cute. I love studded details and have had at least 1 pair of studded shoes in my collection for years. It’s the perfect mix of feminine and edgy in my opinion. These go with everything from a t-shirt and shorts to a nice dress. Another investment piece, but one that I know will be worth it.
