The very first thing I purchased for my new home last year was my egg chair. I had seen them all over Instagram for a couple years and yearned for the day I could have one of my own. It is without a doubt the most used piece of outdoor furniture I have, and the most comfortable. Today I have a review of my egg chair and roundup of others covering a variety of budgets.

I’ve had this egg chair for a little over a year now and still absolutely love it! Mine sits on my front porch and is pretty well protected from the elements. I did move it inside for a few months over the winter, but otherwise it has stayed outside. I purchased the off-white color which matches well with the rest of my outdoor furniture.
The egg chair itself is very comfortable, and can easily fit two people. My dog Dwayne and I frequently snuggled up in the chair together with plenty of room. I have a little ottoman for my chair just to add to the comfort feature. I will say that the off-white color does attract dirt easily. The cushion covers are not removable so you can’t just toss them in the wash to clean them, they need to be spot-cleaned.
The set-up of the egg chair was super easy to do. The frame is metal and is held together by a few screws. I cannot recommend this egg chair enough if you’re in the market. It’s also the most affordable of all the options I’ve found!
