The NSale is officially live for those with super early access (not me). In today’s post I’m taking a capsule wardrobe approach and showing you how to style select staple pieces that are available during the sale. Just because there are great deals during the sale does not mean you need to purchase your entire fall/winter wardrobe right now. My advice is to purchase higher quality staple pieces that can be worn multiple ways for years to come. You can then add in similar, more affordable items to complete the outfit. The good news is that I’ve done this for you!
Faux Leather Leggings
These leggings are always a best seller during the Nordstrom sale. Here I styled them with pieces that are included in the sale. Total outfit cost $562.40
Here I styled the same pair of NSale faux leather leggings with more affordable pieces. These will also likely be in stock longer than NSale pieces. Total outfit cost $165.94
Suede Mini Skirt
This is another NSale repeat item that is always popular. The skirt is quite pricey, but it is an investment piece that can be worn for years to come. I don’t foresee suede mini skirts going out of style anytime soon. Total outfit cost $549.40
I took that same skirt and paired it with a more affordable sweater and booties. You still get the same feel as the NSale outfit above, but without the hefty price tag for one outfit. Total outfit cost $170.94
Leopard Blouse
It wouldn’t be the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale without some leopard print. Leopard is a neutral in my book and I always love picking up a new piece of clothing with this print. Total outfit cost $695.50
The same leopard blouse work-wear outfit for a fraction of the cost. Total outfit cost $274.25
I hope you find this helpful. I’m guilty of seeing influencers post NSale outfit pics and thinking I need to purchase EXACTLY what they’re wearing to get the same look. In reality, you don’t need all of the exact items. Invest in a few pieces from the sale and fill in with less expensive options elsewhere. Happy shopping everyone!
