Dry shampoo is an absolute essential in my day to day life. I have very fine hair that starts to get oily about 10 hours after I wash it. Before I discovered dry shampoo, I would wash my hair everyday because it looked like an oil slick. I’ve since learned that it’s best to minimize how often you wash your hair. It took some time, but I was able to train my hair and now I only wash my hair twice a week! I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoo in the years since and here are what I consider to be the best dry shampoos for super oily hair.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

This is by far my favorite dry shampoo. I feel like it lives up to the claims of actually cleaning your hair and not just absorbing the oil. In the past, the dry shampoos I’ve used have left my hair feeling super dirty and gritty after the first use. I don’t tend to get the same feeling in my hair using this dry shampoo until the third or fourth day. To be honest by that time I probably should be washing my hair anyways haha. This can leave a white cast on your hair so I always use it at night so it can absorb while I sleep. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a dry shampoo for super oily hair as it works so so well!
Batiste Bare Dry Shampoo

Batiste was the first dry shampoo I ever used and my world was forever changed because of it. I immediately went for the tinted dry shampoo for dark brown hair and was so happy that you couldn’t tell there was anything in my hair. I’ve since moved on to non-tinted dry shampoos and the Bare option from Batiste is amazing. If you’re looking for an affordable option that works just as well as the Living Proof in my opinion look no further.
Briogeo Scalp Revival

This is the newest dry shampoo I’ve added to my collection. This one contains charcoal so it does have a slight gray tint to it. It is a powder formula that you “spray” onto your hair. I will say that you have to be careful with how much you squeeze because a lot of powder can come out. Because of the slight tint I can get away with using this one during the day if I need a touch up.
Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-powder

I love this powder dry shampoo! This is such a great travel friendly option if you’re not looking to check a full sized in your luggage. I’ve used both this version and the aerosol version and both work so well. This product absorbs all the oil in my hair and because it’s a powder, leaves a crazy amount of volume. Which is amazing for my super fine hair.
