The weather is starting to warm up ever so slightly so I have spring fashion on my mind. Last year I really embraced high-waisted shorts, and I’m not turning back! I recently picked up this pair of high-waisted shorts and can see myself wearing them a ton this spring and summer. Chambray Top and Braided Sandals
Living in New England, I realistically have another 2-3 months of cold weather so I won’t be jumping into my shorts just yet. For a spring transition outfit, I paired these high-waisted shorts with a classic chambray top to help balance out the cooler weather. I added these braided sandals I recently picked up, and love how they elevate the look.
Striped Tee and Embellished Sandals
Another transition look I am loving. This striped tee is a wardrobe essential in my book. I have worn it so many ways and love how versatile it is. It adds a nice lightweight layer to this outfit and paired with these embellished sandals give a casual but chic look. I know this is an outfit I will be repeating in the coming months.
Denim Jacket and Flip Flops
A denim jacket is a must have in your wardrobe. I’ve had this one for years and frequently reach for it. It adds warmth and I love a layered outfit look. I paired these shorts with a simple tank top and some of my most worn flip flops. These sandals are a great Tory Burch Miller dupe for a fraction of the price, and if I’m honest I reach for them more than my Miller’s.
T-shirt and White Sneakers
This is the perfect casual spring and summer outfit. This basic t-shirt is another wardrobe staple that can be paired with just about anything. I love these white sneakers for everyday and always grab them when I’m running errands. I sized down 1/2 a size and they fit perfectly. Hats are a more recent addition to my wardrobe but I love how they can pull together an outfit. You can never have too many accessories am I right? This hat is under $50 and such good quality.
